Underwater Gate Replacement – Nagarjuna Sagar Left Bank Power House (2017)

The work involved the removal of 540 trash rack gates, originally installed in 1967, at depths reaching up to 40 meters. The project required specialized underwater operations such as chipping, cutting, salvaging, clamping, and precision welding, followed by the installation of 540 brand-new gates to restore the operational efficiency of the power house. Despite extreme underwater working conditions, the entire project was successfully completed in a record time of just five months, delivering a reliable, long-term solution that enhanced both the performance and safety of the Nagarjuna Sagar Left Bank Power House.

This project stands as a testament to our expertise in executing large-scale underwater infrastructure challenges with precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Advanced Marine Maintenance – Hull Cleaning using Cavitation Technology (2022 to till date)

In a strategic joint venture with Russian Cavitation Technology, our company has introduced Controlled Cavitation Hull Cleaning Services—a cutting-edge solution designed to safely and efficiently remove barnacles, algae, and bio-slime from vessel hulls without compromising their protective coatings or paintwork.

This technology leverages precisely controlled cavitation to deliver high-impact cleaning power while maintaining the structural and surface integrity of marine vessels. It is especially beneficial for:

  •   Commercial Shipping Fleets
  •   Indian Navy Vessels

Underwater videography of Plunge Pool-NSRS Srisailam Dam (June-2025)

Plunge Pool:

The work includes detailed underwater CCTV-based videography and photography between depths of 2.0 meters and 49.0 meters, covering an area of 2,500 square meters. A thorough visual inspection of 62 steel cylinders was carried out to assess any potential damage, followed by the preparation and delivery of a comprehensive structural condition report to support preventive maintenance planning.

The operation was executed using high-definition CCTV systems, diver communication systems, and specialized underwater documentation tools to ensure accuracy and reliability of the findings.

Underwater videography of Damaged weir at Srisailam ( June 2022)

Underwater Live Videography – Krishna River Weir Dam (Downstream of Srisailam Dam)

During heavy floods in the Krishna River, a section of the weir dam located downstream of the Srisailam Dam was washed away, creating an urgent need for accurate assessment.

Sea Lion Offshore Diving Pvt Ltd deployed its expert diving team to perform underwater live videography at depths exceeding 40 meters.

Our high-resolution real-time video survey provided critical visual data of the damaged structure, enabling the TGGENCO authorities to assess the situation accurately and plan effective remedial measures.

This project demonstrates our advanced underwater inspection capabilities, supporting key decision-making during high-risk infrastructure emergencies.

Underwater Cutting of Dam Gate – Pulichinthala Dam, Andhra Pradesh (2022)

During severe floods, the radial gate of Pulichinthala Dam was washed away, posing significant operational and safety challenges.

Sea Lion Offshore Diving Pvt Ltd carried out specialized underwater cutting operations, safely cutting the damaged dam gate into manageable sections at significant depth under complex conditions.

The dismantled gate pieces were carefully recovered and handed over to the Irrigation Department for further action.
